Hello Meteor Shower Gazers,
I’m sure you are excited to see the Perseids and also you didn’t know that Teniis, Hip Hop Music & Being a King had anything in common with a meteor shower!
Keep your head up.

It sux that on the day of the meteor shower the town I live in would also be getting one of its few rain storms.
We need the rain, but I was really looking forward to the meteor show.

i saw a electric purple bolide fall in the N.W. sky about 3am on 8/12/09 starting around cassiopia and falling to the west about 20 degrees above the horizon where it burst and had 3 or 4 small yellow streamers fall another degree or so. i was located N.W. of Sacramento, Ca. about 30 miles away from city. it was the first purple one i have seen, very pretty.
